Weekly Update:
| February
23, 2006 We're two
months into the new year, the weather is
beautiful, our CHA products are arriving daily,
workshops are filled, and everything's coming up
roses at
Made For Memories! We
are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful
part of the world and share in such an
incredible passion as scrapbooking. Each day new
customers come in and share bits and pieces of
their lives with us. What other industry offers
such personal rewards? Remember Lucy from the
peanuts comic strip, and how she would hang out
her sign for therapy sessions? I have always
said that our sign should also read "Scrapbooks
and Therapy". We laugh, we cry and we share each
day we open our door! What a joy to be a part of
so many lives and what a joy to also share a
part of my own life with so many. At the end of
the day when I examine the everyday stresses of
owning a business, it is overshadowed by the
warmth and blessings I receive by sharing in so
many experiences.
Our goal is to not only
provide you with wonderful scrapbook products
but to also teach you new ideas, techniques and
have a great time doing it. Customer service
will always be our number one priority. Other
stores may try to mimic us or copy our ideas but
we consider it a compliment, not a threat. It
means we're on task and accomplishing what we
set out to do.
I received a call from someone
out of state yesterday, who had visited all the
stores in the area, while she was here on
vacation. She said, hands down, ours was the
most pleasant atmosphere she had been in. We
offered the best and most variety of products,
the friendliest service and the most helpful
suggestions she had ever received. She was so
impressed she felt the need to call and tell us
again how much she loved our store. What a
wonderful compliment that was. As we all know,
negative comments are voiced much more often
than positive ones and it is refreshing when
someone takes the time to stop and pat you on
the back! Thank you Susan, for making the
effort. It was greatly appreciated.
Our
Design Team has been in high gear
pumping out lots of idea pages using all the new
products from CHA. We brought back lots of
samples with us, so we could have the idea pages
ready, when the product arrives. A big "Thank
You" to these hard working gals for creating
these inspirational samples. They've also been
busy planning great workshops for the upcoming
months. We will begin to post calendars on our
website three months out, so that you can see
what's in the works. Dates and times will be
tentative until final class details are
determined, but at least you'll be able to see
what we're planning. We will also have a
clipboard on the Design Team table for people to
express interest in future workshops or provide
suggestions for classes they would be interested
in taking. One more way we hope to meet your
needs.

We're back.... and man
did we ever score "BIG"! Trust me, what happens
in Vegas definitely doesn't stay in Vegas. Not
when it comes to scrapbooking, anyway!
We bought, we bought and we bought some
more, and we hope you're gonna love what we
bought! We certainly are excited about it all.
We attended celebrity parties
and previews, ordered products till dawn and
still managed to find time to put a few coins in
the slot machines! Be sure to check your E-mails
as I share previews of the products we ordered.
It will take days to sort through all the
catalogs and samples we brought back. We filled
three extra suitcases with product samples
alone! I'll try to add as many photos as I can
during the course of the next few days! Check
out the
Product Highlights Page of the website
for photo's and product previews!
Heidi Swapp

line and with the news will share with you soon!
Stay tuned!
