Weekly Update:
| June 26,
2006 A great Big Thank You to
Annette Fuchs
for the fantastic job she did, leading our
Kids Scrap Kamp!

Wow, what a week! Annette
taught them everything from basic skills; to
chalking, punching, stamping and more! Not one
technique was left un-taught. She went beyond
even what I had expected! Each Kamper finished
an 8 x 8 album and left as knowledgeable and
avid scrappers! How fortunate they were, to have
learned from such a gifted artist, as Annette!
If your youngster missed out on Kamp, be sure to
tuck the thought away for next year, because we
already have a waiting list!

A Special Best Wishes and Good
Luck to Annette, for her submissions to the
Junkitz Contest! Her work is some of the best
I've ever seen. We hope to have her submissions

Nibblin' on
sponge cake,
watchin' the sun bake;
All of those tourists covered with oil....
strummin my six string, on my front porch swing,
smell those shrimp... they're begging to boil!
Wasted away
in Margaritaville, Searching' for my lost shaker
of salt!
Ah, the sights and sounds of
Jimmy Buffett... What a wonderful, restful and
mellow week I had in the Keys! I sun-baked, I
scrapbooked, I read two books, We went out to
the Coral Reef to view all the incredible sea
life, We went sightseeing in Key West, watched
the Tarpon being fed, (no I wasn't brave enough
to stick my hand in the water to feed them), We
had dinner in a Karaoke Bar one night, (no I
never made it to the stage, though I was
tempted) and we enjoyed time with good friends!
I gained another 10 lbs even though I swam
laps... most days! But it was all worth it! I'm
rested, relaxed and ready to hit the ground
running, again!
Summer is upon us and our
tourists are flocking in! It's so good to see so
many faces that I remember from years past!
After 6 years of repeat vacationers, they become
like locals! Welcome to Sunny Sarasota, may our
weather be on your side!

Our
Kids Scrap Kamp is in full swing and
going great! Under direction, from Design Team
Member, Annette Fuchs,
this great group of kids, are enjoying learning
techniques such as stamping, distressing,
freestyle and more, while completing an entire 8
x 8 album in the process!
Workshops: July's calendar will be
finished and posted within the few days. I'm
just putting the finishing touches on a few
things! We have some great projects planned to
beat the summer doldrums (does anyone ever
really have those anymore?) Wait till you see
our Recipe
for
the
4th
of
July! It's just
too clever! We also have plans for some guest
teachers later in the summer! You'll love what
they have to offer! I've seen the samples and
boy are they great!

Mark you Calendars Now
for Friday June
30th... Not
only is it the end of our Anniversary Month, but
it's also 2 days before my Birthday, and
we're doing something big!
While Birthdays are traditionally a day for
receiving gifts... my gift this year, will be
"GIVING"
instead! More
details to follow...
just be sure to mark the date on your calendar.
You won't want to miss this event!
