I can hardly believe that the holiday season has officially arrived. It has been an eventful year, indeed. We have celebrated happy events, endured sad events, and faced challenges.

These are difficult days I know. Many of us have suffered job losses, health issues and for some, the loss of loved ones. You are not alone. It has been a year that has touched every one of us, in one way or another. I am so very grateful that I don't travel this road alone. Each day I am reminded that my path has been carefully chosen and is guided by God, sometimes in ways, I don't even understand. Just today I was reminded of the role Made For Memories plays in others lives as well as it's role in my life.

As we celebrate the season of Thanksgiving, I would be remiss, if I didn't stop and say "Thank You" to each one of you for your support and friendship throughout the year. Without you, our store would not exist. We are very blessed to have shared more than 8 years with you and your families. As you sit down to dinner with your friends and families, this Thanksgiving, know that you will be one of the many blessings that I acknowledge. May your holiday be richly blessed and may you celebrate the moments that bring you all together.

We know that budgets are tight this year and as you embark on the "shopping weekend" we hope you'll make Made For Memories one of your weekend stops. We'll have extended hours this weekend.

I know I have been remiss in staying current with the weekly updates, but the truth is life just doesn't slow down enough for me to complete all the tasks that need to be done. I can't believe Jenny has been married one month already and we are still doing "wedding things" Thank you notes, organizing photos for family, dis-assembling all the things we spent months assembling.. tee hee, and well, you get the drift. Anyway, forgive me, I will try to do better in the next few weeks! In the meantime, maybe Jenny can keep you more timely informed via her blog!

We are mid way into November and the holidays are upon us. I know many of you have been enjoying our "economic stimulus" coupon and I am glad that we have been able to share the spirit of its intention, with you. We will continue to honor it, however, they will be dated from this point forward. They also will not apply to the new product arrivals.

Santa Workshops: We had our first workshop Tuesday night, and what fun. There was a great deal of laughter and Ho Ho Ho...ing around here. Seems we're all "getting into the spirit" of the season, despite what's going on in the rest of the country! If you haven't signed up for one yet, maybe you should! This year, make the gifts to your loved ones, gifts from your heart. Let us provide the inspiration to help you do just that! We are only 6 weeks and counting!!

Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away and we have lots of great products and ideas to help you decorate your Thanksgiving tables. Be sure to check out our front table to see all the beautiful Fall products! I can't wait, Jenny's doing dinner at her house this year, with a little help from her mom, of course! I have gladly passed the torch!

Workshops: We have some great workshops coming up so be sure to check out the calendar page to see all the samples. Jenny's calendar is not only adorable, but would make the perfect gift for anyone!
