Weekly Update:

Ho! Ho! Ho! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The store is ablaze with color, the carols are playing, the Santa Wish List Book is beginning to fill, and the store is brimming with wonderful Holiday Gift Ideas!

 I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their friends and families. Ours was wonderful, but very different this year, as we celebrated the first Holiday ever, without one of our kids. Jenny spent Thanksgiving in Nashville, with Tim's family. Another chapter in our lives begins, as we watch our kids grow up and begin traditions of their own. All the more reason to cherish every moment when you are together. I also hope you took lots of pictures so you will be able to scrapbook those cherished moments together. We have lots of wonderful papers and embellishments to help you create those scrapbook pages. Holiday products continue to arrive daily so be sure to stop in and check it all out!

Don't forget that Gift Certificates are always a great gift as well. With all the activities of the month, we have very little time to scrapbook, so just send your hubbies and loved ones in to now to purchase "Gift Certificates" for you, and in January when the kids are back in school, and you have more time to scrapbook again, you'll enjoy redeeming them without the worry of spending any more money!

Jane and I are off on Wednesday, to Disney World, to attend EK Success    "EXTRAVAGANZA". It is the biggest party of the year, given by EK Success, to all of their Elite Stores. It is 4 days of being wined and dined, taking great classes, seeing all the new products that will be available in the new year, and being showered with lots of goodies to bring home! We can hardly wait! We'll bring home lots of great new ideas to share with all of you and ideas for workshops as well.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

The holiday season has arrived! The traffic is crazy, the weather is cooler, decorations are beginning to be displayed and the stores are packed with pretty things and busy shoppers! As we prepare for one of the busy times of the year I hope we will each stop to enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday and its meaning! We are all so blessed and have much to be thankful for. I wish each of you, and your families, a day of reflection, and moments to cherish. Thank you for your friendship and your continued support of our store.

Before you head off to the mall after Thanksgiving, remember to stop in and redeem those Turkey Bucks! They are redeemable Friday, Saturday and Sunday only! It will be great fun to see how many are redeemed, especially since more than 600 were given out!

Many of you have inquired about our Celebrity Guest Teacher in January. We'll be sharing more details in the next couple of weeks. We already have people signing up for the class, even without knowing the details! We have not determined the times of the classes yet, but do know, there will be a daytime and a night time class. If you are afraid you'll miss out, you are welcome to call the store and sign up. Payment does not need to be made until the details are released! See last weeks update for the date and details.

Don't forget our Annual Open House next Sunday, December 4th. We'll have make and takes, refreshments, and even a visit from Santa. Who knows what Santa will have in his bag of goodies! Studio B Photography will also be here to capture a holiday photo! Please join us as we celebrate the season!

Boy, no rest for the weary around here! Not only have we been incredibly busy, but the number of boxes arriving daily is staggering! We are barely able to get the product checked in, and put out, before the UPS guy is walking in the door again! Everyday is like Christmas around here! It's overwhelming, but also exciting!

The December calendar is out and classes are already beginning to fill! Check out the samples on the calendar page. This Saturday's workshop include the ever popular Explosion Book and the lovely Anna Griffin classes. Samples and descriptions are posted on the calendar page!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble. Turkey Bucks are flying out the door. We have given away so many that it will be fun to see who has collected the most when they are redeemed Thanksgiving weekend! I will tell you we have many customers whose collection is in the high double digit category! They will continue to be distributed until November 23rd so be sure to stop in and start collecting yours!

Celebrity Visit!                                                                                                     Mark you calendar now for Thursday, January 12th, 2006 because you won't want to miss out on our special Workshop, with our Celebrity Guest Teacher! Here are a few hints to wet your appetite! You've seen her work featured in every scrapbook magazine, her products have been sold in our store for several years and always sell out, she's from a western state, she's incredibly talented and she's coming here, just to teach in our store! We will have two workshops on January 12! One daytime class and one nighttime class. There will be 24 spots available in each class. For those of you that know me, you know we don't do anything in a small way in our store, so you can expect something fun and exciting! You'll have to stay tuned for more details and hints about our celebrity! In the meantime, no fair trying to bribe the staff for info!

I'm back from New York and so pumped with excitement and enthusiasm I can't wait to start sharing all of my new found knowledge with everyone. EK Success is such an awesome company, and Margaret and I were given the royal treatment. We both completed SDU training and are now certified SDU instructors. You'll hear more about the workshops and classes we'll be offering in the weeks to come. We will begin implementing the SDU and Methods programs in January, so watch for details. Whether you are a beginner or an seasoned scrapbooker, there's something for everyone! 

We have been so busy with all the products that are arriving daily. If you haven't been in the store for awhile, look out! You won't believe the turn over. We have been so busy that many times we sell out of something before the weekly E-mail even goes out! Just wait till you see all the new goodies this week!

Quickutz: The Holiday Gift Sets are here. These are limited edition alphabets and binders that should be on everyone's Wish List!  The Snow Angel Alphabet is beautiful and you must notice how it's used to make the snowflake on the front of the package! They outdid themselves with this one! The packaging says it all! Also new, two styles of Photo Corners, plain and scalloped.

Scrapbook Sally: Always fun and always funky these papers are always winners. Check out the 10 new styles for vacation, outdoors, friends and baby firsts in both boys and girls.

Bazzill: Big Alpha Chipboard letters. Again all the little cover-alls, coin keepers, gated albums accordion albums and the Bazzill Under The Covers Book. As you know we can't keep these little albums in stock. Bazzill is the worst when it comes to shipping and back orders so if we don't have what you want, when you want it...please, be sure to fill out a special order form so that when they do come in, you won' miss out.

Wow, what a great Halloween weekend we had. Everyone loved pulling their discounts out of the caldron and lots of you saved loooooooooooooooooots of loot! The Basic Grey Lunch Box Class was such a smashing success, with so many people on a waiting list, we have scheduled another class for Saturday, December 10th from 10 am - 4 pm. We may even need to schedule a third class. If you haven't had a chance to see the sample, you can either view it on the class page of the web site, or see it in person in the store. It is truly a work of art! See the sample on the calendar page.

Can you believe it's November already and the holidays are just around the corner? We are gearing up for some great promotions and fun activities. Be sure to read your E-mails each week 'cause you never know what surprises there may be! Santa Wish Lists are available again this year so be sure to fill yours out. You may print one right from the website or stop in the store and fill it out while you shop. Turkey Bucks began on November 1st so be sure to start saving those to be used the weekend after Thanksgiving. See the info on the Events page of our website.
