Weekly Update:

October 24, 2007

I hope you each will take a moment today to
enjoy the rain. As I sit typing this, I am
reminded of the people in Atlanta who
desperately need this rain, as well as those in
California whose homes and businesses have
burned to the ground, and would welcome the
down-pour. We needn't look too far to realize...
that one man's problem, may be the solution to
another man's needs. My prayer is for relief for
all of them.

Here we are, almost at the end of October. Can
you believe how fast this month has flown by? I
hope the costumes are made and the candy is
purchased, as you all prepare for Halloween!
I've seen some of the cutest pumpkin patch photos
from Hunsader's Farms! We have all the
right papers and embellishments to make those
pages perfect for you.
Dancing Jack This Saturday
This Sat is our Dancing Jack Make & Take. If you
haven't signed up yet, it's not to late... we
have plenty! With movable arms and legs, he not
only makes an adorable hanging decoration, but
when Halloween is over, he'll make the perfect
embellishment for your page as well.
Jenny's
monthly Card Swap is also this Saturday. Always
inspiring, always fun, this is one class
everyone enjoys! Call today to reserve your
spot! I've seen some of this months cards to be
traded and all I can say is WOW! These gals have
some serious talent!

October 24, 2008
I know, here we go again... no update last week!
What can I say, you did get two other E-mails
though, one about our Anna Griffin Celebrity
Workshop and one about our Silent Auction. Just
the fact that I was able to get those out,
should count for something, right?
Today is Monday, and I'm going to try and get
the Update written, and E-mail sent by
Wednesday, to bring you up to date and let you
know what's coming up!
Weekend Wrap Up
Silent Auction: If you missed the auction
then you really missed out on some incredible
items. We sold a ton of stuff including more
that 75 completed pages. Our shelves are looking
pretty sparse, but not to fret... fresh samples
are making daily appearances. What for our
Holiday Gift Ideas section to make it's debut in
the next few weeks. We saved some samples just
for that!

Celebrity Guest Debby Schuh:
All I Can Say Is
WOW, what a day!
Debby's workshops were
amazing. Everyone laughed and learned and the
end results were beautiful. Debby certainly
lived up to her reputation and each project was
filled with great techniques and ideas. Two
filled classes and two great projects! A very
special "Thank You" to my dear friends Ansley
and Nedra, who flew down from Atlanta, just to
share the weekend with us. Can you believe it???
Ansley lives down the street from Anna Griffin!
How cool is that? We had such a good time!
The
photo's below say it all. A BIG CROWD AND A
LOTTA FUN!

Fall is in full swing around here and I'm still
trying to put the final touches on all of our
Holiday Events. I'll post the November and
December calendars by next week. We have some
great workshops planned, fun events and
promotions, and even a surprise or two, so be
sure to watch your E-mails for details.

Saturday's Workshop:
Back by popular demand! If you missed this
workshop last year, be sure not to miss it this
year.
This was one of everyone's favorites.
It certainly was one of mine! The perfect
solution for storing your favorite holiday
recipes. I guarantee you won't make just one!!!
We have plenty of room and can accommodate all
who want to attend. Call the store to sign up.

Purpose Driven Life:
Each day I open the door
to the store I am reminded of my purpose here. I
am so blessed and thankful to have the
opportunity to share moments with people. We
laugh, we cry, sometimes we even complain or
analyze, no matter what the emotion or the
subject, it is a brief encounter when lives
touch, and we realize, we share a common bond.
Thank you to those who open themselves up, and
allow me to share those special moments with
you. I am eternally grateful.

Bargains, Bargains, and more Bargains:
We've put all of our previous class kits on sale
at 50% off. Grab 'em while you can. There are

friends wedding. I'm sure she'll be taking lots
of notes. While she's enjoying the cooler
weather and the sights and sounds of the city,
I'll be here, holding down the fort. Be sure to

October 3, 2007

I know, I know, I know... I didn't get the
E-mail out last week. What can I say, too many
things going on and not enough hours in the day.
Honestly, I don't know how everyone else manages
to do it all. I am so thankful we don't have a
blog too. I can't even fathom how people manage
to keep up with those on a daily basis.
Anyway, October is off to a running start. Lots
of busy days and lots of UPS deliveries. Can't
you just feel the excitement in the air? The
days are getting shorter and everyone is
beginning to think about holiday gift ideas and
projects they want to complete in time! We have
lots of great samples, so be sure to check them
out when you stop in.
A big Thank You to all who participated in our
Scrap Pink Weekend.
We had a great time and made a very generous
donation to the
Susan G. Komen Foundation.
A great big Thank You to the Design Team, for
all their efforts in helping make the weekend a
success. Also special thanks to Christel for the
FABULOUS class she taught on Saturday.
The book is beauty-licious and the cards
were an added bonus!

..

Who is that masked girl at the spa crop??? Only
the shadow knows for sure!
