Can you believe it's the end of August already? I don't know where the summer has gone! I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way!

 We have been so fortunate with the storm season so far this year, and we are still holding our breath, as we watch Ernesto, and the direction and strength it will take! We are all in agreement that NO ONE needs another disaster. Our thoughts are with our friends in the Carolinas as they brace themselves for its impact.

Welcome home to all our SDVer's. We've heard from so many of you, that you had a great time! We can't wait to see more of your completed pages that you did while you were there! I am amazed at the numbers I've been hearing from so many of you.

Apparently not all of you were at SDV, because Paula's Organizational Class on Saturday was not only full... there was standing room only! I expect to see and hear how everyone who attended, is now "Fully organized and able to accomplish so much more!" We have had so many requests for a repeat performance. If you were unable to attend this workshop but are interested in taking it, please call the store and add your name to the wait list. We'll let you know as soon as we are able to schedule another one.

It's not too soon to start thinking about Halloween! This Saturday's workshop features an adorable Halloween Mini Album in a Tin. Jeannie's back and raring to go! Don't forget that our WORKSHOP PUNCH CARDS go into effect September 1st!

The Treasure Hunt Begins next Wednesday, Sept 6th

There are 6 treasure boxes on the front table. Each week you will be given a clue. Six keys will be hidden in the store in an area pertaining to the clue! Come in on Wednesdays, guess the clue, find the key, and unlock a treasure chest to receive your prize! It's that simple! Here's your first clue for next weeks treasure:

Hello Everyone! Whew! I know it's Friday and I'm late getting the update out to everyone. I can't tell you where the week went. We've just been so busy around here, there wasn't an opportunity to sit down and do it till now!

I know it's hard to think about Fall when it's 97 degrees out and we're all still in summer mode! The early beginning of the school year has also thrown us all off schedule. While you all are readjusting yourselves to the new schedules, we've been planning the "NEW FALL LINE-UP!" We can hardly wait to share all the great workshops, promotions, guest appearances and events with you! We're even going to throw in a few surprises! We're still putting the finishing touches on a few things, but I won't keep you in total suspense. I'll share a few things with you now! One Woman's Trash Is Another Woman's Treasure!

Do you have a stash of scrapbook supplies that you haven't used, probably won't use but don't know what to do with? Did you buy way too many baby embellishments...and now the baby is in Kindergarten...and there are no signs on the horizon of another one on the way? WE'RE HOSTING A SWAP! Each participant will be allowed to bring their hallowed stash and exchange it for things that others have brought! If there are items that need to be sold rather than gifted, that will also be allowed. A $10.00 fee will be charged to each participant. A Special Store Discount will be offered to all participants during the event and refreshments will be served. Participation is limited,  and reservations are required. Workshops

Beginning September 1st we will initiate our new incentive program! We're excited about it, and we think you will be too! We will offer a class punch card and each time you take a class your card will be punched. Take 6 classes within six months and your 7th class will be free. News Flash: Celebrity Sighting!

Word has it that there's been a celebrity sighting...yes, I do believe there is a plane headed our way, carrying another celebrity to our store! Looks like the plane is due to arrive around October 21st! Who will it be? See if you can guess! Each week we'll give you another clue, till someone guesses who it is! Here's the first clue:

I know, it's Friday and I usually have the weekly E-mail out earlier than this, but it's been another crazy week around here, so I hope you'll forgive me!

 The dust has settled, the mess is gone and we love the arrangement! With the exception of a few minor details, our Reset is completed! I want to thank all of you who have commented! We're so glad you like it! We actually had a mom in today with a double stroller and she had no problems maneuvering all over the store! How nice to be able to see everything now, without bumping into another rack! We're also glad you've enjoyed the added bonus of savings these past few days! It has allowed us to make even more room for our new arrivals each day!

How wonderful it was to have Alan, from Daisy D Designs, with us today! He taught a great class to a full house! There were more laughs, smiles and jokes than I can count! We had more fun, and the completed little mini book, was adorable! What a great new technique everyone learned too, using packing tape and chipboard!  

Already on Re-order are all the Fall Papers from Daisy D. We sold out of them in less than 1 week after their arrival. Alan took the order with him today and will process it tonight. It will ship out next week. So if you missed them... not to worry, they'll be back! If you missed out on Alan's class, don't fret... check out Jeannie's adorable Halloween Tin Album class, scheduled for September! Go to the Calendar Page for a photo. 

Jenny continues to hobble around, but seems to be doing a little better. I must say, she's been a trooper through all the moving, rearranging, checking in new product etc. We're hoping that it will be mended in time for our "Great Escape" trip to Phoenix, in September! Thanks for all the E-mails, calls and Cards! They have truly brightened her spirit!

We have some great workshops coming up including tomorrows Freestyle class with Annette. She is so talented and has created another great Freestyle page for you to do! If you haven't signed up for her class, give us a call. There is still room! Freestyle isn't as hard as you think, step out of your box and let Annette show you how liberating it can be! You'll have a great time, I promise!

Next Saturday is my Sarasota Album. There is only one spot left, so if you're interested give us a call. Deadline is Tuesday, because I need to have photos printed!

WAW! (translation: What A Week) Have you ever had one of those weeks where you felt like you were on a roller coaster and the ride was going to last forever? Well this was one of those weeks for me!

The phone hasn't stopped ringing with calls from people signing up for Ali's and Donna's classes. We actually had people waiting at the doors on Tuesday morning when the tickets went on sale! We're thrilled that you are all as excited as we are! We still have plenty of tickets so call your girlfriends and make a weekend of it! What a great Holiday gift it would be!

In the midst of all the excitement and turmoil (from the store reset) Jenny is now semi- incapacitated for six to eight weeks! She fell and broke her big toe! Timing is everything... thanks to Laura Oettinger, Jenny was instantly seen, X-rayed and treated by her wonderful husband, Dr. Jeff! (Personal Plug: If you ever need an orthopedist, he's the one to choose) Still suffering and somewhat limited in motion, she's now limited to office work! Not to worry though! With nurse Chloe by her side, she's sure to recover faster! 

Fall Workshop Line-up! Wait till you see what we have planned for you! I think I have the best DESIGN TEAM in the whole country! Not only are they all talented, creative and inspiring, but they are so supportive, energetic, and always willing to pitch in whenever needed and willing to do whatever is needed! We have the best meetings! Last night was no exception! Together, we planned the best workshops for the next 3 months. We've planned some Team Teaching, a Special Series to help you unleash your creativity,  Special Holiday Projects and we'll even have incentives for you, with bonuses! Stay tuned as we finalize all the plans... I promise you, the wheels are in motion and you won't want to miss the ride on this education train! Catch the fever and stay tuned for details!  

Ok, I know the store seems like it's been in a constant state of construction! Yes, I know you've had to maneuver around racks, been unable to find things but have also discovered things you hadn't seen before! It's like the grocery store, just when you've memorized every aisle... they change it on you! I promise you there is light at the end of the tunnel! We're almost there! While we've tried to do as much as possible when the store is closed, there are only so many hours in the day! Not an easy task to accomplish when the store is not only busy with customers, but also dealing with the hoards of merchandise arriving daily! By next week, we'll be in the home stretch! We think you'll be thrilled when we're finished! Products will be easier to see, samples more visible and the over-all look more appealing! Thanks for your patience during the process! 

Our thoughts, prayers, and get well wishes, go out to two very special gals, who are not just customers, but friends! You know who you are! As you face the battles that are in front of you, go forward knowing that you are not alone! Get Well Soon!
