Class Descriptions

NOTE: Class fees must be paid prior to class to secure your spot. We reserve the right to cancel any class if the 6 person class minimum is not met. If that happens, we will apply your fee to a future class of your choice. Class descriptions below may not all apply to current month's schedule. Some classes are only offered at specific times. Please check the current calendar for current workshop schedule. All class samples are displayed in the store along with supply lists.

In Store Crop Time
You can crop, use our computer, punches and die cut machine anytime. It's only $5 for the first 3 hours (minimum) and $1.50 per hour for each additional hour. Call first for reservations.

Free Open Crop Days

Every Wednesday is Free Open Crop Day! There is no charge on these days to come in and work!

Anna Griffin Workshop
Do you admire the elegant look of Ann's papers, but are never quite sure how to use them or apply them to your style of scrapbooking? Now you can! You will complete a double page spread in each class complete with embellishment Designed to teach a multitude of techniques without being intimidated by the process. You have to admit, homemade cookies are so much better than store bought. The same is true with albums! Learn how easy it is to bind a gated friendship album, decorate it with Bazzill Chips, and add plenty of cute embellishments. There is nothing cookie-cutter about this darling design...and you can tell all your friends, "I made it myself!" Kit includes a gated album.

Mommy and Me

Grab your favorite small person and join the fun. Geared from children ages 6 and up, this class focuses on holidays, vacations and other special events in children's lives. $15.00 per child

Not Your Ordinary Bookclub

For Members Only. This group meets monthly to review new books published by Pinecone Press and complete page kits designed by the creative team at Magic Scraps. Membership is for six months. You'll learn to step out of your scrapbooking box and move to new levels. $60.00 for six month membership

Photography Class

This basic class is designed for those who want to improve their photographic skills with the camera they currently own. This is a three-week course, two hour sessions per week, and focuses on both digital and 35mm cameras. This class is taught by Dr. Tommy Simmons, who has been an avid photographer for more than 30 years. Text Requirement for this class is: Designing With Photos by Allison Tyler & Donna Smylie. $45

Scrapbook Basics

Designed for those individuals with little or no scrapbooking experience. This course consists of 4 classes with 2 hours of learning time per class. Handouts are given at each session as well as individual attention. Class size is limited to 6 students. See Basic's flyer for details. $50

Do you love the look of foam letter stamping but want even more variety? Here's your chance to learn how to create different foam letter stamps for every page using fonts on your computer. In this class you'll make a two page spread. You can make a simple page with a monogram, use a whole name or use multiple words. It's up to you!
