With our eyelets, stickers, tags

Even though the kids are chillin.

Ho,
Ho, Ho, only one week to go! Are you
ready??? I can tell,
everyone is rushing around trying to get
the multitude of tasks accomplished on
their lists. It's been so busy here in
the store that it's Friday already and
this is the first chance I've had to sit
down and even think about the weekly
update! This will be short and sweet
because it's just so crazy in here! I
must tell you, we have had soooooo many
husbands, family members and friends in
buying gifts from "Wish Lists" and gift
certificates that there are going
to be a lot of Happy Scrappers on
Christmas Day! If you haven't found the
perfect gift yet, be sure to stop in and
check things out. We have some wonderful
ideas in all price ranges!
Tomorrows classes are all
filled, but there are a couple of spots
left in Sunday's Weathered Door Calendar
Class. If you haven't seen it, it would
make the most adorable gift, but I
promise you, you'll have a difficult
time giving it up, once you've made it!
Check out the sample on the
calendar
page! This class is being taught by
Design Team member
Monica Brown! Don't miss an
opportunity to learn from Monica...
she's incredibly talented!
The January
calendar
is posted on the website and hard copies
are available in the store. Be sure to
check out the samples in the store. We
are excited about the new year and what
it has to offer. our new
SDU
program begins in January and the first
class is already full. The February is
also beginning to fill so if you are
interested be sure to call the store and
sign up! A new series called
"Be Inspired"
begins in February, be sure
to check that out as well. Taught by
Design Team Member, Tissana Bowman,
It's going to be awesome! Ok, here's the
scoop on our Celebrity Workshop!
CELEBRITY WORKSHOP:
I was all set to release
the name on Wednesday, when I received a
disturbing phone call from our Rep. The
Scrapbook Shoppe in Tampa had already
released the name to their customers as
well as charging customers the class
fee. We were both sick when we heard the
news. Our "Celebrity" has cancelled due
to a family emergency! Ok, so it was
Eileen Collins with
Technique
Tuesday. Renown
artist extraordinaire! To say we are
disappointed is an understatement, since
airline tickets had already been sent,
hotel reservations, parties and book
signings had all been planned. But we
certainly understand how life can
sometimes throw us a curve ball.
Emergencies do happen and that is why
there is always a plan "B", soooooooooooo, we have another
"Celebrity" to take her place. Something
entirely different but equally as fun!
We are in the process of working out the
travel arrangements, workshop projects
and product presentations. Trust me, you
will be thrilled. The date and time will
remain the same, however we may change
the workshop into a three hour workshop
instead of a two hour one. Not only are
we having this great Celebrity workshop
but we are also offering another one on
Thursday, January 19th! Yes that's
right, "two Celebrities" in one month! Give me a couple of days to get
the bios and then I'll release the names,
and what will be taught in the
workshops! Keep your calendars marked
for January 12th, because "It's Going To
Be A Great Day" and for Januarry 19th,
which will be a bonus!
While
you've been off to the mall buying
those last minute stocking stuffers, we

Merry
Christmas Everyone! Thank You to everyone
who came to our Open House.
What a wonderful day. The carols were playing,
the bells were ringing, and Santa was a big hit
with both the young and the old! We hope you all
enjoyed your treasures from Santa and your
custom laser pages from us. I love the photo of
Santa and me with Chloe. I think that just may
be our Christmas picture this year. A great big
"Thank You" to
Beth
McCaa and Studio B
Photography for doing such a wonderful
job with all the photo's. For those who had your
picture taken, please stop by and choose the
print you'd like, for your free 5 x 7 print.
Studio B has generously donated the gift of this
photo, to each of you! Thank you to
Annette Fuchs, one
of our fabulous Design
Team Members for the great job she did
with the Snow Writer "Make
& Take". Don't you just love that stuff?? Check
out Santa on our
Spotlight page!
Be sure to
mark your calendars for New Years Day Noon -
4:00 pm when our next big event will take place!
Be sure to watch your E-mail on December 31st
for the details regarding this SPECIAL EVENT!
You won't want to miss it! See
the notice on the
events page!
EXCELLENT! That's what EKstravaganza
was! Jane and I had the most incredible time at
Disney World, at EK Success EKstravaganza. I
can't even fathom the expense that EK incurred
on the behalf of all the Elite Store owners. An
all expense paid trip, we were wined and dined
and treated to lots of special events. We viewed
all the new product that will arrive on the
scenes for the next six months, including some
things that are still in production for a year
down the road! How exciting to get a "heads up"
on so many exciting and wonderful new products.
Just to share a few:
Rebecca Sowers has a wonderful new
line that includes papers, embellishments, signs
and several sizes of "make your own" spiral
bound albums. She taught a wonderful class,
giving us hands on with all these fun new
things. As soon as I have a chance to unpack all
of our goodies, I'll display samples in the
store of all of our projects. Each day was
filled with workshops and demo's and outstanding
presentations! They even flew in all of the
heads of the companies from Taiwan, Germany and
other countries that are responsible for making
many of the overseas products! We even met "Mr.
Hermafix" himself. Yes, that's Jane and I with
that tall drink of German water! He couldn't
believe how many of his products we sell every
week! Stay tuned as we share some of these neat
new innovative products on our Products
Highlight Page! Your gonna love what's coming!

warmed by His Peace, and filled with His Joy.
