Happy Easter!

Jesus came to earth,
To show us how to live,
How to put others first,
How to love and how to give.

Then He set about His work,
That God sent Him to do;
He took our punishment on Himself;
He made us clean and new.

He could have saved Himself,
Calling angels from above,
But He chose to pay our price for sin;
He paid it out of love.

Our Lord died on Good Friday,
But the cross did not destroy
His resurrection on Easter morn
That fills our hearts with joy.

Now we know our earthly death,
Like His, is just a rest.
We'll be forever with Him
In heaven, where life is best.

So we live our lives for Jesus,
Think of Him in all we do.
Thank you Savior; Thank you Lord.
Help us love like you!

Wow, what a great weekend we had with Kelly Panacci! She is as adorable and sweet in person, as you would imagine. She taught a fabulous class Saturday to a packed crowd and inspired all who were there! We ordered extra kits so if you missed the class but want a kit, stop in and grab one. You can see the finished project on display. Hurry, they won't last!

Thanks Kelly, for sharing your time and talents with us! You are amazing, and we are honored you could join us!

Weekend Crop

Ok, the fun's not over yet... guess what's just around the corner? Our "Annual Crop Weekend"... that's right! Yep, every year we gather our "stuff" pack our bags and enjoy a weekend of cropping and fun at a local hotel. Traditionally it has been our celebration for "National Scrapbook Day" which is always the first Saturday in May. This year we've decided to celebrate a little later in the month due to all the activities we've had lately. So mark your calendars now for May 15th-17th and plan to join the fun! More details to follow soon! Special Hotel rates will apply!

It's that time again for our annual Garage Sale. Out with the old and in with the new. Here's your chance to clean up, clean out... and make a few extra bucks doing it! Our annual garage sale is always a success. Call the store if you're interested in signing up as a "seller". We provide the tables, racks and manpower, you just need to price and label your merchandise, we'll do the rest. Call the store for more details.

Ahoy Matey!!! I don't even know where to begin to tell you how busy it's been all week! We haven't had a chance to even look up! Tired but exhilarated... our treasure seekers have all been richly rewarded! We've heard lots of great comments and are thankful to the hundreds of pirates that have passed through our portal! Thanks to all of you for making the 2009 Treasure Hunt such a huge success!

Of course... even Chloe joined in the festivities. Aaaaarrrrggghhh!

Kelly has been very busy preparing all the kits for next weekends big event! We can hardly wait! I know we will barely have time to recover from the treasure hunt but we are so EXCITED!
