It's that time of the year when traffic is bad, the beaches are packed, restaurants are crowded, and the store is so busy that the day seems like it's over before it has barely begun! It's been absolutely crazy around here! A good crazy I might add! We are selling out of things as fast as they come in. I seem to spend several hours a day, just placing new orders and re-orders.

It's so great to see how excited everyone is over all the new products arriving daily. As I told you all after CHA, I think this was one of the best shows in years. We had no trouble at all spending money! There are still plenty of orders that aren't scheduled to ship until April 1st, so don't fret, it's not over yet!

In The News...

a big Congratulations to Linda Harrison on her hard earned and well deserved accomplishment! Linda is one of 25  Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame Winners! Way to go Linda! Enjoy the rewards of your labor! You've earned it!

Also celebrating a milestone, is Jenny, who turns 25 on Sunday, April 1st! We have always kidded her, that some families have the family jewels, but we have the family fool! Since I was induced, it certainly was no joke! Her birth was highly anticipated and an answer to prayer. I have been so blessed to have such an incredible daughter and friend. She is all I hoped she would be and more!

Happy Birthday sweet baby girl! You may be 25 years old, but the memory of that precious little bundle of joy placed in my arms... seems like yesterday! I Love You!

Weekend Retreat

We are so excited about our Annual Weekend Retreat. I hope everyone read the E-mail that went out earlier this week. Registration opens tomorrow (Friday) and I'm sure the phone will be ringing off the hook! Last year's crop filled rather quickly, so don't waste any time giving us a call! I must say, that this months issue of Cards Magazine is awesome! It has some really great ideas in it. i love taking the card ideas and incorporating them into my scrapbook layouts. Just a neat tip!

Ok, Ok, I know, I'm sorry... no weekly update last week. I've heard from so many of you that you kept checking the website anyway for all the new product info!!

I apologize, but we had one of the busiest weeks ever... last week and there really were not enough hours in the day to do it all. We had so many

UPS and FED EX shipments that I can't even begin to count them all. One day we received 14 boxes from UPS alone! Thank Goodness for our "groupies" (you know who you are) for helping out so much! We couldn't do it without you!

Lots of exciting things going on around here! A Great Big Thank You to Michelle Van Etten for the fabulous class she taught on Saturday. She taught two full classes of eager ladies who are now glittered, gilded, stickled and  inked! How beautiful these books are. If you missed the class, you missed a really great time, but don't fret, I bought a few extra kits. I just knew there would be gals who would want them! The kits include color copies and excellent directions!

Be sure to mark your calendars now for our Annual Retreat Weekend. We had such a blast last year, that we're doing it again! We're celebrating National Scrapbook Day with a weekend Crop. We've booked the Comfort Inn again, (just down the street), reserved a block of rooms and are working on the details as I type! I can't believe it's March already, can you? Spring is in the air (even though it may be foggy today!) and the snowbirds have arrived! I love this time of year! It signals rebirth and new life. The perfect time for cleaning out closets and for planning new projects. I already have a "honey-do" list a mile long, just waiting for my husband! He promises me he's going to take a week this month, to tackle that list! We'll see!

We certainly are making it a priority around here as well... to clean out, make room for all the new and exciting things that have been arriving each day, and to look toward the future! Having just renewed our property lease... it looks like we're full steam ahead, and right on track, for many years to come!

Lots to tell you this week! 

First, I'd like to introduce Sandy Torok, better known as "T". Many of you may already know her, as one of our guest teachers. We are happy to say, she is now a part of our team, and is the newest addition to our staff! She has many years of scrapbooking and stamping experience under her belt, and we are thrilled to have her in the store on a regular basis. Having recently moved from the Lakeland area where she worked for Violet's Stamping and Scrapbook Store, T's knowledge and experience will certainly be to our benefit! Sandy McDonald, (the owner of Violets) and I are friends, and she knows that her loss is our gain. I promised her, we'd take good care of T, and give her a big Sarasota Welcome! Be sure to introduce yourself next time you're in the store to "T". She'll be working on Tuesday's and Thursday's each week! Welcome T, we're glad you're here!     

Celebrity Workshop next Saturday, March 10th

Michelle Van Etten will be teaching this great mini album, using the newest product from Prima Flowers. Michelle has a very impressive resume, and has just added being inducted in the Creating Keepsakes University Faculty, to the list! Check out her bio and class info on the calendar page!
