Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep... 
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep. 
The leftovers beckoned...the dark meat and white, 
but I fought the temptation with all of my might. 
 

Tossing and turning with anticipation, the thought of a snack became infatuation. 
So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door, and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore. 
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes, stuffing with gravy, green beans and tomatoes. 

I felt myself swelling so plump and so round, till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground. 
I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky, with a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie 
But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees...Happy eating to all -- pass the cranberries, please.

I hope you each had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a very special time celebrating with family and friends! My family certainly enjoyed our time together. We seem to have so little of it these days.

No sooner do we celebrate Thanksgiving, when we are faced with the Christmas Season. We were busy all weekend with early holiday shoppers. As you can see by the store photos... we are ready to help you in any way we can,  prepare for the busy days ahead. We have lots of great gift ideas to make gift giving easy for you. We also have our Santa Wish Lists available for you to fill out. When your loved one comes in, we'll help them select from the list, and voila, their shopping will be complete! So much is happening in the next few weeks, so be sure to read your E-mails carefully so you won't miss out on anything!

EKSTRAVAGANZA: Jenny and I are packed and ready to go to Las Vegas. As an EK Success Elite Store, we will spend the remainder of the week as guests of EK, at Caesars Palace! We'll be treated to all kinds of new classes and product previews. Don't worry, we'll share all that we see and learn, when we return! I'm sure we'll also manage to find time for a little slot machine action as well!

We are counting the days till Ali and Donna arrive! If you haven't purchased tickets for their classes yet, be sure to do so. Also, don't forget to buy raffle tickets! We extended the drawing for another week. The proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association, and you could be the lucky winner, who joins us for dinner with Ali and Donna, on Friday night, Dec 8th! They will be here on Saturday Dec 9th for their book signing. If you don't already have any of their books, not to worry... we have plenty on hand!

Other Exciting News: Drum roll please! We are so excited to be able to offer you another service! An On-Line Store! Yep, and one that will have almost 50,000 skus of products available as well. We'll even have items available, that we don't carry in the store. You will be able to shop in our store, pay for your purchases safely and securely on line, and the merchandise will be shipped directly to your home or office. It just can't get much easier than that! We can hardly wait. The store should be up and running by New Years! we'll keep you posted!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! The holiday season has officially arrived! The traffic is crazy, decorations are beginning to appear, and the stores are busy with shoppers. Don't you just love this cooler weather too? Nothing like sweaters, and football games on Turkey Day! As we prepare for this busy time of the year, I hope we all will stop to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and it's meaning. We have so much to be thankful for. I wish each of you and your families, a season of joy, filled with memories to cherish.

Before you head off to the mall after Thanksgiving, remember to stop in and redeem your Turkey Bucks! You can redeem them Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We will also have lots of unadvertised specials going on. No early morning hours though, our staff works hard enough during normal hours.

Weekend hours are Friday and Saturday 10 am - 5:30 pm and Sunday Noon - 5:00 PM

SPA CROP

We had such a good time at our "Spa Crop" and we have the photos to prove it! A big thank you to Selena Lubben for all the special treatments and for adding to the laughter.

Be sure to join us for our next crop in January. We won't have one in December due to all the holiday activities. I'm not sure how much work gets done, but we certainly have a good time!

The names of these ladies have been protected... to keep their husbands from knowing exactly what goes on at a crop!

Here we are, the week before Thanksgiving. Traffic is getting heavier, the stores are getting busier, holiday decorations are beginning to appear, and the season is upon us. I'm trying to decide when and how, I will find the time in the next few days to plan a menu, go to the grocery store, and cook Thanksgiving dinner, all while running a store, at the busiest time of the year! Yikes! To top off the list is the fact that Jenny and I leave for Las Vegas on Tuesday the 28th for EKSTRAVAGANZA! We can hardly wait!

As an EK Success, Elite store, we are invited every year, all expenses paid, to a fabulous week of entertainment, classes and product previews. This years event just happens to be at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, (oh darn). We will see all the great product previews for the next six months as well as the new Martha Stewart line. You can bet, we'll come back pumped and excited, and ready to share all the great news and ideas with you all!

I spent all day Tuesday with one of our favorite reps, writing orders for the holiday season! When I say all day, I mean all day too... we started at 10:30 AM and she didn't leave till almost 6:00 PM! We have so many wonderful products ordered. Hello Everyone,

What a great week it's been! Lot's of hours, and I'm tired, but it's been worth it! First of all, Jenny's clock classes were amazing! Each and every clock was so different and unique. We loved them all! I can't wait till after Christmas, to hear about all the reactions, from the recipients! This is truly going to be the gift of the season! Almost everyone was doing multiple gifts! Jenny did a great job teaching! She's so creative and talented... we need to encourage her to teach more often!

Whether you are ready or not, the Holiday Season is upon us! We are only two weeks away from Thanksgiving when the big rush will start. UPS delivers daily here. In fact we received 15 boxes today! Does that tell you how prepared we're going to be to meet your wish list needs? We have some great gift ideas and samples, and by the end of the month, the decorations will be up, the carols will be playing and the store will be filled with gift baskets and ideas!
