I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that both your tummies and hearts were filled with love and blessings. We had a very special day in our house. Now, it's back to the gym, before the Holiday parties begin and we have to slip on those "slinky dresses!"

Our day, was spent a little differently this year... Jenny was very sick, and  in bed. She was struck with another one of her debilitating migraines, which to make a long story short... lasted five days, and required 2 trips to the emergency room for medication. She is weak, but back on her feet today. Thank goodness, these do not attack her frequently, but when they do... they are merciless. We are grateful that the migraine is gone, and have promised her an encore performance of her missed "Turkey Dinner"! I hope your day was a little less dramatic, than ours.

Our post Thanksgiving weekend was a blast, and we were thrilled to see how many people redeemed their "Turkey Bucks!" I won't embarrass the winner by naming names... but I will say, the most Turkey Bucks redeemed by one person was... drum roll please, 42! You do the math! That was quite a nice savings! We are so happy that you all enjoy this each year, and thank you for your support throughout the year.

We are officially off and running now, on our Count Down To Christmas!

The season begins this Saturday, with our Stampendous Event! You don't want to miss it! Sunday is our Annual Open House and rumor has it that, Santa himself, will be here! I really should start calling this my Bi-Weekly Update... it seems I just there just aren't enough hours in the week for me to accomplish my list of tasks! Trying to find the time during the day, to sit and compose my thoughts is like trying to hear a pin drop in the middle of an explosion! Ha, Ha! There's always something going on, or the phone is ringing or  people are cropping or shopping or... well you get the point! Now, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have it any other way... I'm learning to accept the things I can control, and let go of the things I have no control over!!!!!!!! NOT!!!! Well it sounded good anyway! Thank Goodness, Jenny does all the weekly product update. You have no idea how long that takes! I am so blessed that she is such a good multi tasker... she runs circles around me!

Thanksgiving is only a few days away. Before we get caught up in big dinners, football games and the busy holiday shopping season, I would be remiss if I didn't stop and take time to count my blessings. I am grateful for so many things in my life. I am thankful for all of you, and your continued support of Made For Memories. You are the reason we open the doors each morning. I am so thankful for a happy and healthy family, that will soon be including a new member. I am so very, very thankful for those men and women who our serving our country, and protecting the very freedoms I awake to, each morning. My list goes on and on. I hope, you too, will take the time to count your blessings and enjoy the spirit of the Thanksgiving Season.

Ok so it's been 2 weeks without an update, all I can say is "it's been crazy around here." This time of year there are no guarantee's, when it comes to getting everything on the daily lists, completed! We are busy helping customers, checking in new products, planning for upcoming events and promotions, designing samples and classes and all the other things that go on behind the scene that keeps you coming back for more!

This month kicks off the official Holiday Season and we have so many great things planned. You won't want to miss a single event. If you haven't already started collecting your Turkey Bucks, you'd better start. These are redeemable the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving, and are the same as CASH! For every $20.00 you spend on regular priced merchandise, you will receive a Turkey Buck worth $1.00. The race is on to see who can collect the most! Friday after Thanksgiving, we will be open from 9:00am until 6:00pm and we have some awesome promotions planned for this great day! Beginning at 9:00am with doorbuster items and discounts. Santa Wish Lists will also be available, so be sure to fill yours out ,so your friends and family can make your dreams come true! We even have the gift wrap, bows and cards to make it a one stop shop!

One week later we'll kick off the month of December with our Stampendous Event! December 1 from 10:00am - 4:00 pm! I met with our rep this week and all I can say is Wow! She has some incredible make & takes planned and awesome new products that she will be debuting! The hottest thing to hit the market, since Tim Holtz! If you're a stamp lover, you really won't want to miss this event. Special promotion items will also be offered.

Also that Weekend is our Annual Holiday Open House. Sunday December 2 from Noon till 4:00 pm Santa will be here handing out gifts from his bag of goodies. Refreshments and fun are the order of the day! on Monday we kick off our 12 Days of Christmas Promotion. Each day, a different item will be featured at a Promotional Price, as well as a different Holiday Make & Take. Our Design Team has outdone themselves this year. Each project is really wonderful. They will all be on display after Thanksgiving, so be sure to check them out!

We will also be offering a few workshops during the month of December. we don't usually do this because it's such a busy time of the year, but we've had some special requests and there just aren't enough other weekends available, so we'll give a shot! Be sure to check the December calendar for details.
